Project overview
This project was a full house renovation completed for a client in East Bergholt, Suffolk, transforming a derelict semi-detached property into a modern, up-to-date family home finished to a high standard throughout.
Internally, the property was fully stripped back before structural alterations were carried out. Three small rooms were combined to create a large open-plan kitchen and dining area, along with a new utility room. Forming this space required the installation of a structural steel beam to safely support the building above. The ground floor was then fully rewired with a new fuse board and fitted with entirely new plumbing, including a new boiler and radiators.
Upstairs, we added a large family bathroom and created an en-suite to the master bedroom. The home was completed with high-quality designed kitchen and bathrooms, new windows and doors, full plastering and decorating, new flooring, skirting boards, internal doors and frames throughout — giving the interior the feel of a brand new home.
Externally, the garden was cleared and landscaped with a new patio, turfed lawn, constructed planters and a gravel driveway.
The result is a complete transformation — turning a neglected property into a bright, modern home ready for comfortable living.
